On this DVD you will learn the following routines: 27 - While the magician's back is turned a spectator shuffles, selects a card, and cuts the card back into the middle of the deck. The magician then proceeds to face the spectator and asks the spectator to name a number. The spectator counts down in the deck to their number and discovers their card! Duality - An audience member is asked to peek at a playing card. Another audience member who has not seen the first spectator's selection is then asked to stop the magician's finger as the magician passes it over the fan of cards. The card stopped at matches the first spectator's selection. Arthur's unique presentation strengthens the effect of this classic. Sliver Certificate - The magician borrows a dollar bill and proceeds to levitate it. After the bill descends the magician unfolds the dollar and the spectator is shocked to find a silver ball bearing inside. Mouth Travelers - Four aces travel one at a time from the magician's hands to between his lips. This is a novel routine that is great for strolling-magic performances! Spatial Exchange - A corner is torn off a playing card and the card is inserted into the deck. The magician then proceeds to instantaneously exchange the positions of the corner and the card. The Crimped Cup - This is the classic Cups and Balls presented with a gambling premise and a magical twist. The magician "crimps" or marks the cup where the balls are supposed to travel to with a plastic ring. In the end, a ring appears on each cup to mark the appearance of each final load

"Waving the Aces" by Guy Hollingworth is one of the most famous and deceptive pieces of card magic ever created. The effect is simple. Four aces are shown face down, one by one they visually turn face up.

For many years Manu Jo has studied "Waving the Aces", along the way discovering new sleights which allow for a more visual and deceptive handling that is truly baffling to both spectators and magicians alike.

Content :

Red : This is the "basic" handling that started it all.

Yellow : 2 aces turn face down, one at a time in a spread of four cards, you turn this packet over and the two other aces turn face down

Green : Ever dreamed to have 3 aces turn facedown one at a time without any card displacement? I guess your dream has just become reality.

Blue : Have 3 aces turn face up on top of the deck, this is the perfect routine to do when you can't put the deck down.

Purple : You want to "wave the Aces" ... with just 4 cards? Now you can!

You will need apparatus for many of tricks, but some stuff you are likely to have (thumb tip, sponge balls, Svengali Deck, etc.). Other tricks are old magic kit stand-bys and probably can be purchased from your favorite dealer. Approximately 40 performances and explanations.

Kit states that you can do over 300 tricks with included props. That may be stretching things a bit, but the kit included an instructional booklet, too, which undoubtedly contains more ideas, full effects, and such. If anyone has scan of book, an upload would be welcome.

Copy protection was stripped from DVD so these files are accessible to anyone. There are a few "stutters" in video in spot, but nothing too off-putting.

Angel's Mindfreak trick DVD series probably offer more "value" to the student, but some may be interested in this, too.

My Take on a Classic: This routine combines several principles to deliver and astonishing series of mind reading revelations. If you ever wanted to get inside someone’s head and reveal GENUINE memories then you do not want to miss this Pete will show you several ways of taking some of mentalisms most classic effects, elevating them into a moving experience for your spectator.

Credit Card Routine #1: You turn away and request that the spectator remove any credit/debit card from their wallet. The spectator is then requested to memorise several numbers from the card and is then further requested to hide the numbers from view. Without peeking at any point you now turn to face the spectator and begin to reveal their thoughts with amazing accuracy.

Credit Card Routine #2: You will also be treated to one of Pete’s closest guarded secrets in which he will demonstrate a method for revealing genuinely thought of numbers which culminates in the reveal of a full bank account number from a card which has never left the spectators possession. No peeks no glimpses, no pre-show, you need not even be in the same room as the spectator. During this routine you are also able to reveal the minds of several other spectators with amazing accuracy.

Dealing with Hecklers: This is the definitive work on dealing with problem spectators and includes Pete’s amazing response to the inevitable question “If you can read minds then what am I thinking of right now?”. Pete also details several ways in which you can handle and awkward spectator, get them on side and even involve them as part of your show.
